I am Dr. Hanna Lind
and this is my journey to
NeuroDynamic Breathwork
Growing up on a farm in Iceland, I developed an intuitive and deep connection with the land, animals, and the mysteries of nature. I had freedom and space to create and wonder. That early encounter with nature and its innate wisdom set me on a trajectory of exploration.

Driven by a calling to health and to help people to heal, I went to medical school and then practiced clinical medicine for several years. Later on, my work in research and development of new medicines deepened my respect for scientific inquiry— but increasingly I saw the limitations of modern health system that compartmentalizes health into isolated symptoms and diseases.

In parallel, I dedicated myself to yoga and meditation. These practices nurtured not only my body but also my spirit, bridging my scientific understanding with a more holistic sense of well-being. Exploring different healing modalities, I came across breath-work.
From the very first session, I felt a powerful shift—and learned that the simple act of mindful breathing could unlock a gateway to an altered state of consciousness. The breath, being the only element of our autonomic nervous system that we can shape and change with our willpower, and it opened a portal to deep transformation and healing.

Life has been an undeniable teacher, with all its joys and challenges. I am sure you have those joys and challenges too. As a mum of three children and a partner in a nearly twenty-year marriage, I have navigated these complexities, including the grief of losing both my mum and dad and my brother. In the midst of these journeys, neurodynamic breath-work became a space for me where I could face my emotions, reconnect with the free and creative essence of my spirit, and start healing from within.

This practise is now needed in the world more than ever, to support people to go within, trust their inner knowledge and to speak their truth. That drives my passion for sharing this practise with you and other people.

Now, I share my story through my neurodynamic breath-work practice. I invite you to join me on this transformative journey—a journey where science meets spirit, and where every breath becomes a step toward reclaiming your own inner freedom and balance.

Why I chose To Offer Breathwork & What Is The Meaning Behind & The Connection To My Logo

Journey Inward. Return Renewed.

Neurodynamic Breathwork completely changed my life when I realised that each of us carries an inner guiding intelligence — a deep, self-organising wisdom that knows how to restore balance when given space to breathe. Through consciously connected breathing, the body and mind enter a dynamic dialogue, releasing stored emotion, quieting mental noise, and opening access to intuitive insight.

The symbol of a labyrinth reflects this process perfectly.
Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has only one continuous path — a journey that leads inward to the centre and then back outward again. Every turn mirrors the natural rhythms of the breath: contraction and expansion, tension and release, inhalation and exhalation.

My visual identity draws inspiration from the Tamarindo Labyrinth in Costa Rica — a design built to unify two energetic centres into a single field of coherence.
Its interwoven circular form, derived from the Vesica Piscis of sacred geometry, represents harmony between dualities: mind and body, science and spirit, reason and intuition.

In Neurodynamic Breathwork, the same principle applies.
Two apparent opposites — control and surrender, stillness and movement — meet through the breath and converge these polarities to generate a new energetic state: the awakened, balanced self.

As participants follow the inward rhythm of their own breathing, they are guided not by external instruction but by an inner compass — the still point at the heart of the labyrinth.

The labyrinth therefore becomes more than a visual mark — it is a map of the experience itself: a single path of trust, self awareness, and deep integration.
